AI platform and solutions provider Blackford and radiology AI company will begin a commercial partnership to bring Annalise’s CXR and CTB solutions to healthcare providers in the EMEA region via the Blackford Platform, Blackford announced in a communiqué earlier this week.

Blackford provides healthcare professionals access to an extensive portfolio of more than 120 AI solutions designed to drive clinical accuracy and efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
Integrating’s advanced comprehensive technology into the Blackford Platform equips healthcare providers with potent tools for detecting multiple pathologies in chest X-rays and head CT scans.

“We’re delighted to join forces with,” said Ben Panter, Founder and CEO of Blackford. “Their commitment to supporting clinical decision-making resonates deeply with our vision of revolutionizing healthcare through AI. By integrating their comprehensive applications into our platform, we are expanding the breadth and depth of AI solutions available to healthcare providers to help support the advancement of public health.”

Annalise’s comprehensive solutions can detect up to 124 findings on chest radiographs and up to 130 findings on non-contrast head CTs. It helps radiologists by flagging, highlighting, and ordering cases based on different priority groups. Configurable worklist priority categories, such as ‘critical,’ ‘high,’ ‘low,’ ‘unremarkable,’ or ‘no abnormality detected,’ empower clinicians to efficiently triage cases.

The ability to assign unremarkable priority groups for cases with no or unremarkable findings streamlines reporting efficiency and accelerates turnaround times for critical cases. The solutions also create draft reports that clinicians can verify and sign off, thereby saving time for clinicians*.

“We are excited to embark on this collaborative journey with Blackford, a leader in the radiology AI space. This partnership is a significant step forward in our mission to empower radiologists with cutting-edge AI tools,” commented Dimitry Tran, Co-founder and Deputy CEO at

This strategic partnership underscores the commitment of both Blackford and to advancing healthcare solutions through the integration of state-of-the-art AI technologies, Blackford wrote in its communiqué. The collective goal is to bring about positive transformations in clinical workflows, enhance reporting efficiency, and ultimately improve patient care, the group concluded.

*.~35% of CXR and CTB cases supported today (April 2024) will have a complete, editable radiology report.
