Coronary CT Angiography (CCTA) is an established technique for the non-invasive assessment of coronary artery morphology. However, the purely
anatomical assessment of coronary stenosis does not adequately predict hemodynamic relevance. Recently, numerous CT techniques for the functional
analysis of coronary lesions have emerged. In this article, we review our experience in investigating advanced CT myocardial perfusion imaging
techniques that are able to detect myocardial ischemia to provide a fast and comprehensive appraisal of coronary artery disease.
