At SIRM2024, Mélisande Rouger spoke with Angelo Gaiani, Head of the EMEA region at Bracco, about new contrast media.
‘We have new contrast products not only for x-ray and MRI, but also for the nuclear medicine business, something we will start to commercialize in Europe in the next few months,’ he said.
Gaiani touched on Vueway, an innovative contrast for MRI, that has a higher relativity for ‘better performance and provides half the gadolinium dose, which is better for the patient and the environment’.
There has been an unexpected increase in the EMEA market, and a trend for saving money because of a pressure on healthcare markets, he added.
