The new AeroDR 10 x 12
wireless plate detector is particularly suitable for sites seeking a smaller
and lighter wireless flat panel for use in general X-ray and in specialty
applications such as orthopedics and pediatrics. This includes the Neonatal ICU where the
AeroDR 10 x 12 detector fits most basinets and can be used with major portable
X-ray systems from various manufacturers. The easy-to-use, versatile and
dose-efficient detector is already being adopted in several imaging markets,
including hospitals, orthopedic practices and NICU departments.. The new
detector is an excellent complement to large field detectors and is easily
integrated into existing Konica Minolta Medical Imaging systems. In addition to
most standard digital imaging requirements, it can also be used for cross
table, extremity, and sunrise patella views with a high tolerance to patient
weight loading. The AeroDR 10 x 12 delivers a gentler imaging experience by
providing greater dose efficiency compared to standard CR and GOS based imaging
systems.
As with the company’s other detectors, the AeroDR 14 x
17” and 17 x 17” plates, the AeroDR 10 x 12” improves workflow efficiencies
with speed—images appearing on the console display in less than two seconds—and
high image quality. The new panel boasts the same power saving technology, durable
body, and Lithium Ion Capacitor that assures a facility’s long term investment
in the AeroDR wireless technology.
