New portal centralizes PACS support resources

Freeland Systems has launched a new customer dashboard for users of its AccessPoint PACS platform. According to the company, the self-service portal is designed to provide radiology departments and IT teams with centralized access to system information, documentation, training materials, and support resources.

The company said the dashboard reflects its move toward a more proactive approach to customer support by bringing key operational information together in one location. Users can access the portal to monitor system performance, find educational content, and review product documentation without needing to contact support directly.

The announcement comes as adoption of cloud PACS solutions continues to increase. According to Freeland Systems, cloud deployments now account for more than half of all new PACS installations, while the global cloud-based PACS market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of more than 10% through the end of the decade.

"Our customers manage complex imaging environments, and they shouldn’t have to hunt for basic information about the systems they depend on every day," said John Freeland, Managing Partner of Freeland Systems. "This dashboard was built around a simple idea: give people one place to go, and make sure it actually has what they’re looking for."

Features for radiology and IT teams

According to Freeland Systems, the new dashboard provides several tools intended to support the daily management of imaging systems, including:

  • Live system status and service updates
  • User guides, documentation, and video tutorials available on demand
  • A searchable knowledge base containing product updates and support resources
  • A direct customer feedback channel for future product development

By combining these resources into a single interface, the company aims to simplify access to information for AccessPoint PACS users.

Designed for future development

Freeland Systems stated that the customer dashboard will continue to evolve over time. Planned updates include additional modules, new educational resources, and seasonal visual updates. According to the company, future enhancements will also be influenced by customer feedback submitted through the portal.
