Esaote Group is showcased a range of new technologies across ultrasound, MRI and enterprise imaging at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2026 in Vienna. A central focus of the company’s presence was the launch of two new ultrasound systems designed to support interventional radiology procedures: MyLab™E85 GTS and MyLab™C30 GTS Edition. The systems were officially introduced during a presentation at the Esaote booth on 5 March.
The new platforms are designed to improve precision and workflow efficiency in ultrasound-guided procedures, an area of growing importance for radiologists performing minimally invasive therapies.
Marta Daniel, GTS Product and Clinical Solutions Manager at Esaote, said: “With these new ultrasound systems, our goal is to give interventional Radiologists the most reliable and intuitive tools to support every phase of their procedures.”
She added: “MyLab™E85 GTS offers advanced imaging technologies for precise diagnosis, excellent needle visualization, and enhanced interventional guidance through Virtual Navigator and exclusive built-in Ablation Confirmation Suite. Virtual Navigator enables real-time multimodality fusion imaging for accurate navigation, which combined with the Ablation Suite for treatment verification, strengthens ultrasound as a reliable adjunct to CT-guided interventions. MyLab™C30 GTS reinforces the GTS solutions, providing outstanding imaging and flexibility across clinical environments in a premium compact system, delivering contrast-enhanced, shear-wave elastography and attenuation imaging modes in a portable unit for the first time.”
AI tools aimed at faster MRI and new clinical insights
In MRI, Esaote was presenting two new AI-driven solutions designed to improve both scan efficiency and diagnostic insights.
The HyperSpeed AI module is designed to significantly reduce MRI scan times while maintaining high image quality. Meanwhile, M-Score, a quantitative software tool, enables bone health assessment through opportunistic screening during routine lumbar spine MRI examinations.
Enterprise imaging platform adds AI workflow tools
Esaote’s healthcare IT subsidiary Ebit was also presenting an updated version of its SUITESTENSA enterprise imaging platform. The new version introduces AI-enabled workflow orchestration and enhanced structured reporting, designed to integrate directly into radiologists’ daily reporting workflows.
Built on a cloud-native architecture, the platform integrates AI and quantitative imaging tools within the reporting environment, with the aim of improving efficiency while maintaining clinical oversight and data governance.
