Avicenna.AI has received CE Mark certification for two of its latest AI solutions: CINA-VCF Quantix and CINA-CSpine. Both tools are designed to improve the detection and reporting of critical spine injuries in CT imaging and are now approved for use across the European Economic Area.

CINA-VCF Quantix targets vertebral compression fractures (VCFs) that often go unnoticed in patients undergoing CT scans for unrelated conditions. The software automatically labels vertebrae and calculates height loss in the thoracic and lumbar spine. In moderate to severe cases, it generates structured notifications for radiologists, enabling earlier diagnosis and treatment—particularly relevant for patients aged 50 and above at risk of osteoporosis-related fractures.

Meanwhile, CINA-CSpine addresses cervical spine trauma, identifying suspected acute fractures in the cervical vertebrae. By flagging potential findings directly within radiologists’ existing PACS/RIS systems, the tool supports faster triage and treatment, which is vital in emergency settings where time is critical.

Both AI tools are seamlessly integrated into clinical workflows and expand Avicenna.AI’s growing portfolio of radiology solutions, which also includes algorithms for stroke, pulmonary embolism, aortic dissection, and intracranial hemorrhage.

With these latest certifications, Avicenna.AI continues to strengthen its position in the European imaging AI market—driving forward precision, efficiency, and safety in trauma and preventive care.
