Advancing Cloud-Based Breast Imaging Networks
QT Imaging Holdings Inc., a medical device company specializing in radiation-free acoustic breast imaging, has announced a partnership with Intelerad Medical Systems to implement InteleShare Research PACS and Cloud PACS solutions. The collaboration supports QT Imaging’s goal of delivering safe, quantitative, and accessible imaging through a secure cloud infrastructure.
The InteleShare platform will serve as the backbone of QT Imaging’s Cloud SaaS Platform, integrating its Breast Acoustic CT Scanners with Intelerad’s cloud architecture to improve research collaboration, clinical workflows, and data accessibility across institutions.
Key Capabilities of the Collaboration
- InteleShare Research PACS: Enables researchers and clinicians to view, measure, and manage anonymized breast images in a browser-based environment, supporting multi-institutional clinical trials.
- InteleShare Cloud PACS: Facilitates secure archiving, exchange, and remote access to imaging data for providers and patients, ensuring compliance with global data protection standards.
- Integrated workflows: Streamline anonymization, data transfer, and research coordination for clinical and commercial users of QT Imaging’s systems.
This deployment will be accompanied by full implementation, training, and EHR integration to support efficient adoption across QT Imaging’s partner network.
Enabling AI and Quantitative Imaging Through the Cloud
QT Imaging’s Cloud SaaS Platform will act as a delivery framework for upcoming AI and machine learning modules. Built on InteleShare’s DICOM-compatible architecture, these algorithms will be deployed directly through the cloud for real-time quantitative analysis.
Future updates are expected to include:
- Automated lesion segmentation
- Volumetric tissue characterization
- Computer-aided diagnostic tools
“Our collaboration with Intelerad strengthens QT Imaging’s ability to deliver not only advanced breast imaging but also a modern, cloud-enabled infrastructure that accelerates research and supports clinical adoption,” said Dr. Raluca Dinu, Chief Executive Officer of QT Imaging. “InteleShare is designed to connect our scanners with both research institutions and clinical sites, ensuring a seamless and secure experience for physicians and patients.”
“We are excited to partner with QT Imaging to advance their mission of improving women’s health,” added Morris Panner, President of Intelerad. “By leveraging InteleShare’s secure and scalable architecture, QT Imaging and its collaborators can focus on research and patient outcomes while relying on robust image-management capabilities.”
Driving Global Expansion of Radiation-Free Imaging
The partnership advances QT Imaging’s broader strategy to expand access to its FDA-cleared Breast Acoustic CT Scanner, accelerate clinical trials, and extend commercialization of its cloud-based imaging ecosystem globally.
