DeepHealth, a RadNet subsidiary, has received FDA 510(k) clearance for TechLive™, a vendor-agnostic remote scanning solution for MR, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound. The technology addresses radiology technologist shortages by enabling centralized scanning and expanding access to complex imaging procedures.
Remote Scanning for Multiple Imaging Modalities
DeepHealth, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT) and a provider of AI-powered health informatics, announced the FDA 510(k) clearance of TechLive™, a vendor-agnostic solution designed for remote operation of MRI, CT, PET/CT, and Ultrasound systems. The system allows technologists to perform and supervise scans from a centralized command center, enabling service across multiple locations.
With more than 300 RadNet imaging systems connected to TechLive™, the solution is contributing to operational efficiency, increased patient throughput, and broader access to advanced imaging procedures.

Addressing Workforce Shortages in Radiology
Radiology workloads have steadily increased over the last decade, while the number of qualified technologists has not kept pace. The shortage has been further complicated by inflationary wage pressures and rising demand for advanced imaging.
In a pilot program at 64 RadNet facilities in the New York area, TechLive™ reduced MRI room closure hours by 42 percent in the second quarter of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. This improvement allowed more patients to receive timely imaging and facilitated an increase in the number of complex procedures performed.
Enhancing Ultrasound Capabilities
The remote scanning approach has been extended to Ultrasound, a modality that is heavily reliant on real-time, operator expertise. Using TechLive™, experienced sonographers and physicians can guide on-site technologists through complex cases, improving diagnostic quality and expanding service capacity.
Leadership Perspective
“TechLive™ represents a paradigm shift in how we approach imaging operations,” said Sham Sokka, PhD, Chief Operating and Technology Officer at DeepHealth. “By enabling real-time remote expertise, we are not only addressing today’s staffing challenges, we are creating a foundation for more efficient, financially sustainable, and high-quality patient care across the broadest set of imaging modalities. This FDA clearance validates DeepHealth’s vision of a connected imaging ecosystem that scales human expertise beyond physical boundaries.”
